Christ Pattern
Scripture keeps telling the same story, over and over, in different shapes. Once you learn to see one pattern, you start seeing them everywhere — in the text, in your own life, and yes, in the movie you watched last night.
Why I write about this
Finding biblical patterns immensely interesting, I've stumbled upon them — and sometimes set out looking for them on purpose. Either way, I test what I find against the precedent of old and new testament Scripture, to validate it or throw it out. The deeper you go into Scripture, the more it starts to reinforce itself in ways you never once realized. Once you see it, the Bible stops feeling like scattered stories and starts feeling like one long argument God has been making since Genesis 1.
This site is just me writing down what I notice and contemplate. Sometimes from a random sermon, and sometimes from a show I watched over the weekend that borrowed more from Scripture than it probably knows.
